Navy Demotes Former White House Physician Ronny Jackson
After Investigation Finds Misconduct
Washington, D.C. -
The Navy has quietly demoted Republican Representative Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician, following a scathing report from the Defense Department's inspector general.
In a report completed three years ago but only recently made public, the Pentagon found that Jackson, who retired as a Navy rear admiral in 2019, had engaged in misconduct while serving as the personal physician to President Donald Trump.
The report detailed instances of inappropriate behavior, including excessive drinking and prescription drug use, as well as the creation of a hostile work environment.
