Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Colo) has been removed from a theatre in Denver after being caught vaping during a performance of the musical "Hamilton". The incident occurred on Thursday evening, as Boebert attended the show with her family.
Witnesses reported that Boebert was vaping in the balcony section of the theatre. She was confronted by theatre staff and asked to stop, but she refused. She was then escorted out of the theatre.
Boebert denied the allegations of vaping at first. However, theatre staff produced video evidence of the incident. In the video, Boebert is seen taking a puff from an e-cigarette.
Boebert has apologized for her actions and said that she "deeply regrets" the disruption she caused.
